It was none other than George Orwell who once aptly observed, “Those who control the past, control the present. Those who control the present control the future.” Orwell, a former Communist who became disillusioned with the unviable ideology which has failed miserably wherever it has been attempted, was referring to Leftists’ revisionism of history as a means to advance their Collectivist dogma. Thus, it should surprise no one that our once venerable museums of American History are now run by the type of Marxist ideologues from whom Orwell himself once fled.
Upon the founding of our nation some 250 years ago, Americans boldly proclaimed to their erstwhile King and the rest of the world, that individuals have inalienable rights to govern their own affairs and choose their own leaders while professing that these rights come not from the capricious largess of a monarch but, from the hand of God. Our system of Individual liberty, free enterprise and limited government has created the most prosperous, successful and powerful nation in the history of mankind
Yet one would hardly know as much from visiting our most prominent museums of today. At these revisionist institutions, America’s meteoric ascent, paid for with the blood shed by millions of our dead and wounded patriots, is portrayed these days as “the troubled American past.” Today’s preeminent museums of American History have distorted our national identity under the guise of inclusivity to portray our nation’s founding and celebrated story as being inherently bad if not outright evil.
However, for those who seek the truth about American History, there are still some places where it can be found. One of those bright lights is the Miricle of America Museum in Montana. This gem of a find is known locally as “the Smithsonian of Montana,” absent the anticapitalism, LGBTQ+ and absurd race ideology on display at the actual Smithsonian Institute.
Located in Polson, Montana, the Mircle of America Museum shows our nation’s spectacular rise from its uncertain beginnings to the world’s singular economic and military superpower as it is today, on a campus comprised of forty buildings containing many hundreds of exhibits. You learn how the wilds of the American frontier were tamed not by LGBTQ but by GGG- God, Guns and Guts! You learn how even in the middle 20th Century, that Americans worried that future generations might naively succumb to the gilded snare of socialism. You see how the United States through its freedom, Capitalist system and its unparallel industrial production, defeated Fascism and National Socialism and ultimately, Communism. You’ll discover how American Exceptionalism has made the world a much freer and better place.
A tour of the Miricle of America Museum will leave you far better informed than you were before your visit and provide you with a lifetime of memories.
