It was none other than George Orwell who once aptly observed, “Those who control the past, control the present. Those who control the present control the future.” Orwell, a former Communist who became disillusioned with the debunked ideology which has failed miserably wherever it has been attempted, was referring to the Left’s propensity for historic revisionism as a means to advance their Marxist dogma. Thus, it should surprise no one that our once venerable museums of American history are now run by the type of Marxist ideologues from whom Orwell himself once fled.
Upon the founding of our nation some 250 years ago, Americans boldly proclaimed to their erstwhile King and the rest of the world, that individuals have the inalienable right to manage their own affairs and to choose their own leaders while professing that these rights come not from the capricious largess of a monarch but, from the hand of God. Our system of Individual liberty, free enterprise and limited government has created the most prosperous, successful and powerful nation in the history of mankind
Yet one would hardly know as much from visiting our most prominent museums of today. At these highly politicized, revisionist institutions, America’s meteoric ascent, paid for with the blood shed by millions of our dead and wounded patriots, is now propagandized as “the troubled American past.” Today’s preeminent museums of American history have distorted our national identity under the guise of inclusivity to portray our nation’s founding and celebrated story as being inherently bad if not outright evil.
However, for those who seek the truth about American history, there are still places where the truth can be found. One of those is the Miracle of America Museum in Montana. This hidden gem which trumpets the achievements of America’s history and culture, is known as “the Smithsonian of the West,” absent of course, the anticapitalism, LGBTQ+ and absurd race ideology one finds on display at the actual Smithsonian Institute.
Located in Polson, Montana, the Miracle of America Museum shows our nation’s spectacular rise from its tenuous beginnings to the world’s singular economic and military superpower that it is today, on a campus comprised of forty buildings containing many hundreds of exhibits. There, you’ll learn how the wilds of the American frontier were tamed not by LGBTQ but by GGG- God, Guns and Guts! You’ll discover how as far back as the middle 20th Century, Americans worried that future generations might naively succumb to the gilded snare of socialism. You’ll understand how the United States through its freedom and Capitalist economic system, defeated Fascism, National Socialism then later, buried Socialism’s deceased, consanguineous kissing cousins, Communism, The Soviet Union and the Red nations of the Warsaw Pact. You’ll delight in understanding how American Exceptionalism has made the world a much freer, safer and better place for all!
A tour of the Miracle of America Museum should also make clear to anyone that our sacred freedoms are maintained by a solemn covenant between generations which requires our perpetual vigilance to preserve.
